Blooming into Healing

As a photographer, I see each session as a collaborative journey, where my subjects and I explore themes of identity, vulnerability, and the process of healing.

My ongoing project Blooming into Healing is about capturing the raw, intimate moments when we confront our own truths. Flowers play a central role, symbolizing strength, growth, and protection, while the natural light acts as a soft veil, highlighting the beauty of imperfection.

This series is an invitation to pause and reflect. In a world oversaturated with images, I aim to create work that reconnects us with our own vulnerability, offering space for healing and self-discovery. Each photograph becomes an emotional dialogue between the viewer and the subject, encouraging introspection and the acceptance of imperfection as a form of beauty.

What makes this project truly special to me is the deep collaboration between myself and the individuals I photograph. The trust they place in me allows us to explore new layers of their identity, and through this process, I, too, find my own healing. I believe that personal photography can be a way of connecting with our most authentic selves—offering a moment to reflect, pause, and rediscover who we are.

I was grateful to share the first results of this series with a broader audience in Munich. This show marks a pivotal point in the Blooming into Healing project, and I hope it inspires viewers to look inward and reflect on their own stories of vulnerability and strength.

The first series was exhibited at ART MUC in Munich (25-27/10/204)
